Adoption Process
Adoption is an extremely responsible step, which is why we carefully select our candidates.
1. Choose Your Pet
Browse the animals looking for a home and choose the one that touches you the most. If you're hesitant, we'll help you with a recommendation based on your rhythm and lifestyle.
2. Complete the Application
We'll ask you to share a little more about yourself – where you live, whether you have other animals, experience, daily routine. This way we can make the best match between you and the animal.
3. Interview with Our Country Representative
After we receive your application, we'll contact you for a brief and pleasant conversation to discuss everything important and answer your questions.
4. Home Check
Sometimes we conduct a home visit or video call to ensure that the new home is safe and suitable for the animal.
5. Preparation and Contract
Before handover, we ensure all veterinary care – vaccines, microchip, deworming, tests. We sign an adoption contract that protects both the animal and you as adopters.
6. Journey to the New Home
We organize the transport – personally or through a trusted partner. In Bulgaria or abroad, the animal always travels safely and with care.
7. A New Beginning
Welcome to the Sharo family! We stay in touch with adopters and enjoy every photo, video, and story about the new life of our former strays.
